I bought this book because I trust the author Robert Tisserand's experience. This book was written many years ago, yet it is stil useful and valuable resource today. It covers areas that I have not found in many books written today. The Art of Aromatherapy not only goes through a history of the use of essential oils through time. It also reminds us of how we used to use our sense of smell before technology took over medicine. Tisserand includes attributes of many oils as well as what they can help remedy. There is also a section that helps you figure out your dosing! I truly give this book a big 10, and recommend anyone who wants to learn more about aromatherapy than just putting what smells good in the diffuser to grab a copy.
